BOO! Did I scare ya? Probably not, especially when it seems like every time I turn on the news, real life events that are taking place across our great country seem way too scary as is! I don’t want to get into politics, or discuss whether marching and protesting is needed, but I know there are lots of people scared and worried about our future. I know there is lots of concern with Covid-19 still and as a repair shop, we are starting to have issues with getting parts, due to all the craziness. What I don’t want you to be scared about is your vehicle and your family's safety! At Inmon Automotive we perform a 52-point inspection every time you come in to help keep you safe. We look at brakes, air conditioning, cooling systems, belts, hoses, batteries, tires and everything bumper-to-bumper to give you the best advantage in a world gone MAD! No, we don’t have a “magic eight ball” but we do have over 125 years of combined experience working on vehi ... read more

ATTENTION EVERYONE! I am the proud uncle of a BEAUTIFUL baby GIRL! In midst of a Covid-19, and 2020 (the year nothing seems to be going right in the world era), I’m super excited to meet my brother's youngest and newest addition…Alexis! Alexis was born on 9/11 and is perfectly Healthy! Mommy and Baby are doing great and Blyth cannot wait to meet her new, and only girl, cousin. We are super excited as well. So from the man who says “I can’t make a girl”... Congrats Bro, she is beautiful! Like a brand new baby with all the smells (good and bad) and all the different routines involved, getting a new vehicle is very similar. For instance before you bring your new baby home, you do doctor visits, read lots of books on raising kids, or some people just "Wing it”. New Cars and trucks are very similar. You research and plan as best you can, then you invest and bring your new ride home…. Or at least you should ... read more

If you didn’t know, August is my Birthday month and I like celebrating it! I made the mistake one year, a long time ago, that I wouldn’t mention my birthday to anyone and see who would remember… Sadly, the only call I received was from my Mom! THANK YOU MOM for remembering the birth of your first child! We won’t be making that mistake twice! I know it's been a long time since any of us were able to celebrate openly in large crowds due to Covid-19, but I think celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and other special events is a big deal, especially when we can’t give out hugs or high 5’s due to social distancing! These are time markers in our lives that deserve recognition (even though they may be the cause of our greying hair), and what better way to do it than by sharing it with the people you care about. So, I’m sharing it with you! Come on in during the month of August and celebrate with me! Not only do we have a few coupons to help keep ... read more

Summer is full on and like most people, we are spending lots of time either on the river, at the beach, in a pool or under a sprinkler in the backyard. With all this vitamin D, we are doing everything we can to keep our little mermaid safe and protect her from harmful sun rays and the heat. We lather up, we reapply, we hydrate and we cover up with water shirts etc as needed, all while having a blast! We hope you are doing the same! Just like we protect our bodies from the sun and heat, your car may need some help as well. High temperatures in sunny Florida are torture on your cars AC and Cooling systems. Most vehicles AC will get them 30-40 degrees cooler than outside temperatures. Though that might not seem enough, 70 degrees while sitting in traffic is WAY cooler than 100 degrees! The good news is that once the vehicle gets moving and more air is moved across your condenser, you should get another 5-10 degrees cooler. Same thing for your engine. Your Cooling fans are working overtim ... read more

At breakfast yesterday, in a matter of 2 minutes, my beautiful 3 yr old daughter ran the spectrum of every emotion I can think of. I mean from, happy to sad to crying to nervous and confused to angry crying to hysterically laughing… all this over Cheerios or Rice Krispies for breakfast! Now, if you’ve ever been around toddlers, you’re smiling because you’ve been there and done that. This happens in my life from time to time, but what hit home with this emotional unloading was how much I could relate to her feelings. With everything going on with the uncertainty of COVID -19 and then all the Civil Rights issues and protesting, like most people I am experiencing emotions...lots of emotions. So, like I tell my daughter, emotions are OK and real. It’s how we handle them that really matters. As far as COVID-19 goes, I’m celebrating that it looks like we may have avoided something truly terrible, and am praying that we don’t have another round. Kn ... read more
